Congratulations to DCDRC Volunteer of the Month, Attorney Guillermo J. Chavez

Ready to Fight for YOU

Attorney Guillermo J. Chavez was recently recognized as one of the Volunteers of the Month for February 2022 by the Dallas County Alternative Dispute Resolution Center (DCDRC). Recognized for his excellence in mediation and exceeding expectations in settling cases for the Center. Attorney Chavez joins Michael Ray Johnson, UNT Law School Student, in accepting this honor.

The DCDRC began its alternative dispute resolution program in January 2012. The alternative dispute resolution program provides vital legal solutions to parties who cannot afford professional mediation services. Cases are referred from Civil District Courts, Family District Courts, County Courts at Law, Probate Courts, and Justice of the Peace Courts.

Attorney Chavez is a dedicated member of the Dallas-Forth Worth community and is passionate about serving as a DCDRC volunteer. As a volunteer mediator, he provides his services pro bono. He has witnessed first-hand how invaluable the services provided by the DCDRC are to the local community. The alternative dispute resolution program offers hope to residents across the area who are struggling with difficult legal matters.
