Erik Cabrera-Zamora

Erik attended Austin College for his undergraduate degree where he graduated with honors in economics and as President of the Austin College Mock Trial Association. Erik went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. While in law school Erik was, on the executive board of his law school’s Hispanic Law Student Association, on their National Trial Competition Team, a Student Attorney at the Community Lawyering Clinic, and a Tedx Speaker.

 Erik’s role at G.J. Chavez & Associates, P.C. as an Associate Attorney is guiding people through Family Law cases. Erik’s passion for representing people in Divorce, CPS, and Custody proceedings extends into his life outside of the courtroom where he advocates for families and communities impacted by Mandatory Minimum Sentencing Laws.
